We’re seeking your help for a couple of exciting opportunities!
UK Men’s Sheds Association is looking for member Sheds who would be able to take part in a couple of exciting activities to support its work with two of its partners.
Firstly, we’d love to hear from anyone that would be interested in being trained by Ronseal to be able to deliver a basic DIY course. This would involve attending a one-day training session, led by Ronseal’s Product Expert, covering topics including basic use of tools, simple decorating projects, tiling and painting.
Once trained, you would be able to deliver the course to your Shed members, other local Sheds and also be able to offer it to the general public that could bring income in to your Shed.
Our second project involves working with the creative organisation 64 Million Artists on its January Challenge. This is aimed at encouraging members of the public to get involved in a range of daily creative projects throughout the first month in 2022 (50,000 people took part in January 2021) and they are really keen to involve the Men’s Sheds movement in helping to create some of these challenges. We’re looking for a small group of members that would be able to attend a one-day workshop in mid-November to work with 64 Million Artists in putting together some ideas on the creative activities that could be used in the project. In return, you would receive a £50 donation to your Shed. The workshop is due to take place on Thursday 11th Nov at 3pm online for a couple of hours.
If you would like to get involved in either of these challenges, please register your interest by contacting David Meli. You can email david.meli@ukmsa.org.uk, or call 07983 710025.
