At present we are open Mondays and Thursdays
We have a workshop that is coming along, with benches and machinery being setup. We have a collection of power tools and hand tools. We are still working through the tools and materials that people have generously donated. The garden is laid out and we have had our first harvest of fruit. We have some work to do in the building, both inside and out and you might like to help out.
We have been very lucky to have recieved a large number of donations of tools and have spent time, sorting, cleaning and storing them as well as testing the electrical ones.
Haltemprice Men in Sheds have a newsletter thats is sent out to keep in touch with people who are interested in joining and we also recently took part in the Anlaby Hull Fair Scarecrow Hunt.
One of the projects Haltemprice will be involved in will be a virtual shed so those that are isolating or can not come out at present can zoom into the shed and join in on coffee mornings or group activites (when safe to do ) from their own home.
